Kenneth Davis
I am a freelance writer based in Los Angeles and graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a bachelor’s degree in English. In addition to my freelance work, I have worked in the journalism field for more than five years. In that field, I have worked as a reporter, copy editor, fact checker, editorial assistant and proofreader. I worked as a staff writer for Los Angeles Daily Journal, a highly circulated legal newspaper and as a contributing entertainment writer for Valley Scene Magazine, a California-based publication. As a writer for Valley Scene, I wrote music reviews (CDS and live performances) and film critiques.
I am also a musician (bass and some keyboards) and a songwriter/composer. I have loved all kinds of music from a very young age due to growing up in a musical household where it seemed that music was emanating from every room.
In addition, I have worked as a story analyst/script reader, providing coverage for various companies and screenwriters, including Final Draft, Cannell Studios, TheScriptAgency.com and VM Butterfly.
I also have a music blog called Funkatropolis: http://funkatropolis.blogspot.com/
